The process was quick, but overall disappointing. I applied on a Friday, and received an interview invitation the following Tuesday. Went to the interview a few days later, which was a group style interview. I arrived 10 minutes early, and had to wait about 30 minutes before the interviewer was ready. The questions were very basic, surface level ones. Not really the kind where you can get an accurate assessment of the people being interviewed. I didn't receive a call back for a 2nd interview, despite being more than qualified and doing well in the interview. The whole process was a joke. It felt like trying to win a popularity contest.

Says it was a group interview but was actually individual interviews from a group of people. So don’t get so worked up! Also it’s a 3 step process. Was lucky enough to meet with a wonderful interviewer.

The interview process was simple and efficient. It started as a group interview where the expectations were clearly laid out. Then we each had a quick one-on-one conversation, followed by a store tour and a detailed explanation of the job duties and expectations. The team was friendly and transparent about the role and what Aldi looks for in its employees.
