I applied for the position, a week and a half after a recruiter sent a reply they would like to schedule a Zoom call. I prepared, logged in. 1. The interviewers (2) were 10 minutes late 2. The interviewers were one girl from the team, and another guy was from another department, just to be the second.. Usually first interviews should be with the HR to discuss details, including salary, contract conditions. Here I could not discuss anything. 3. Both interviewers seemed to be bored and were not interested in my description of experience and expertise. It was like this interview was just for a vision, they would have an option. Both seemed uninterested. My question after the interview finished was "What was that and why did we even talk if nobody is going to consider me hiring". I already felt, I would receive a rejection email the next day. One recommendation: if you are really interested in hiring people, please do the effort to prepare the interviewers (one should be HR for the 1st round), and if you already know you will not hire the person with who you plan the call, please do not sponge on each other's time and effort.
