This place is an absolute mess. Like other posters who have mentioned on here they will have never ending rounds of interviews and none of them will truly ask questions based on your skillsets. Not sure if it is a cultural thing, but these people are not "direct" as they tout. You will have absolutely zero clue what they are thinking throughout the process, or even worse if you get "lucky" enough to work there. The most painful was the case interview. Spent so much time preparing for it, HR even told me that the hiring manager went into it thinking "this is the person we are going to hire." But since no one at this company can make any decisions, they add people who have nothing to do with the role to the interview process that have zero interest in being there for your interview. One guy had his hand on his face the entire time and asking me questions to things I already explained multiple times! So I withdrew my candidacy after 2 months of being in the process I said forget it; especially when the feedback was "i was too defensive." No, Adyen, I wasn't defensive I was being direct when you were clearly being disrespectful to me. Then another team was interested in speaking to me, but I got grilled on being "too defensive" during the case in the last interview process and spent an additional 1.5 hours over the course of two interviews with this other hiring manager having to overcome biases. This guy had no idea how to make a decision, just like the other "leaders" there so he passed me to another interviewer who asked nothing about my qualifications and background so I withdrew again, but this time the hiring manager decided to say "we will not be proceeding" after I withdrew. The ego. All in all it was 3 MONTHS of interviews with so many people because again no one at this company can make a decision. Says a lot about how dysfunctional this place is. I spoke to previous Product Managers and they are all quitting left and right because of this toxic environment. Dodged a bullet. Go put your efforts into Paypal or Stripe where the pay will be much better.
