The time between applying and having a phone screen was only about a week. I was emailed shortly afterwards for an interview, given instructions to bring ID and I will be issues a badge. Parking around the building is typical 2 hour meter or parking garage. The building is shared with Airbnb but fairly straight forward to find. I had to wait for front desk person to show up since the doors are locked (none of this was mentioned to me beforehand). I was not issued an ID badge or asked to see my ID. I also had to wait a half hour in the lobby even though I showed up 5-10 mins early. I was brought in by one of the HR people and handed off to another where she explained the benefits and job pay, which seemed to be something you cover when accepting the job. After 15 mins she brought me over to a conference room where two leads were. They were pleasant and I was asked many questions relating to my experience and what the job requirements were. To be honest, a 2 hour interview for a $17/hour skilled job felt a little overkill to me regardless of if the job requires learning new processes. Even though the few people I met were very nice, I was not impressed by their facilities, the attitude of people I walked past or general enthusiasm for what they did. I read on glassdoor that people are discouraged from talking to one another and I felt that vibe. I was expecting something more laid back, but this felt like a typical 9-5 office job. What I saw diminished any interest I had in working there, not to mention this was a 6 month contract where benefits would kick after 3 months.
