I started with the app and integrated the APIs. After couple of hours, I needed some clarification/discussion on the assignment, when some experienced person from the industry, who knew the founder, came for a visit and started having discussions with the employees. After an hour of waiting, I decided to put the assignment on hold. Even after that, I had to wait for more time in order to finally get to talk to the interviewer. I told them that I had paused the assignment and it won't take much time to finish, asking for the next steps. On this, he told me to finish the assignment over the weekend and they'll give me a call once the founder is free from "entertaining" that industry person. I finished up the assignment, but didn't get any call. When I called up, the lady said that I didn't finish my task. I told the situation that the interviewer had asked me to finish it over the weekend and she said that she'll call me after having a discussion with them. I didn't get a call.
