HR meeting was very good, interviewer asked nice questions. Technical interview was not that good, however. I was not given prior information regarding the contents of it. Two team leads and HR person attended the meeting. I was asked a few generic and meaningless questions then was asked to refactor a piece of again generic looking code piece. The person doing the refactoring part refused to unmute their mic so I heard his voice via others’ mics. It was an easy interview question but I got distracted with muted interviewer and lost my train of thought.
