I have a great respect for Charles Schwab based on the brand image and the feedback I heard from my friends. I would like to share my feedback on the interview. The four developers who interviewed was a most healthy discussion. I hope they understood about me, if I can fit in the role and what I really can contribute to the project technically. They have infact explained me very well about the project and the tools that they use. I loved it! Now with QA people, I am surprised that they did not even ask a single technical question. They asked me so many process related questions. And unfortunately, no two companies has a same process. Most of my answers were a red flag to them but thats what we are doing in our current company. I tried to explain, but unfortunately they are not willing/interested to know what I am trying to even explain. These QA ladies are like an excess scum baggage to schwab. I am sure they cannot even write a simple hello world statement in their favorite language. The offshore teams in this team work while these people will portray their work. It is simply a waste of time to attend the stupid interview. One more thing, you will not find a visitor parking inside the office, you need to park some where on the street outside of the campus. Finally, the recruiter does not even bother to send feedback even after a followup. God only knows Schwab's recruiting strategy.
