First stage interview was fine, pretty standard, and went well. The interviewer mentioned that this interview was one of 5 (?!) which is excessive and wasn’t disclosed before. Also not disclosed before was the salary etc. I received a standard template email afterwards as a rejection and was refused feedback as ‘there is a high number of candidates’ at that stage. This is a real shame as interviews take a large amount of time out of someone’s day (preparation, the actual interview during working hours). A real discard for their candidates to not give any feedback after a face to face interview. Poor.

Friendly interviewer, walked through my CV and asked questions then asked behavioural questions, asked what I knew about the role and the company, and then a slightly unexpected practical question identifying compliance risks which was unexpected for a first round interview!
