Also rejected me for not answering the difference between Test Plan and Test Strategy(Though I explained the differnce to a decent extent) document..I don't remember when was the last time I had used these docs in this fast Agile paced world.

The Test Plan focuses on the specifics of testing for a particular project, while the Test Strategy sets the overarching approach and principles for testing. However this is a very minor difference but the Interviewee should be able to answer this in simple words.
