I am a 2019 fresher student. I applied through a referral, but hiring process through off-campus and through is similar. Firstly, I got an invitation for an online test at home. The test consisted of approx. 52 questions with a time of 120 minutes. The test had multiple sections like logical and aptitude section(Number Series, find the number in a table,time-speed-distance,time&work, etc), Coding section where a single code is to be done and should be coded in CPP only, technical MCQs related to c, CPP, MySQL, UNIX commands.
Post clearing the test, I got a call for the further interview process. They expect you to confirm availability for same or they reschedule.
My interview process occurred at Hadapsar, Pune.
I was given a time slot of 12.30. But try to go early as the interview is taken on First come First serve basis.
My first interview was related to the development position. Some questions I remember were:
Introduce yourself?
Project-related questions in detail.
Rate yourself in Mysql then what are cursors, procedures(write example), the difference between a drop and delete, delete and truncate, etc.
UNIX commands for grep, sed and some other commands.
For java I rated myself very well so there multiple questions for Collections, interfaces, Multiple inheritances,Can we make constructor final, etc
Some general knowledge related questions like for defence minister, finance minister, World cup match status, etc. and hobby-related questions too.
They tell you results immediately after the interview is done.
If you are rejected from the development position they ask you for a technical support position.
Gratefully, I cleared the interview and appeared for HR then.
For HR round they basically ask your family background, project experience, knowledge about Amdocs, why do you wanna join Amdocs, etc.
They tell you if the response is positive and ask you to wait for mail for confirmation.
the interview process ended at around 9 pm and some who stay in Pune were asked to come on the next day.
So try to go early.
You get a mail approximately in a week.
