I went in for an interview for an administrative position in South Portland, only to find out that I was lied to. Upon entering into a conference room for the interview, the interviewer proceeded to talk about their company's need for sales agents. I stopped her in her tracks after a few minutes to let her know that I was not seeking a sales agent position, but in fact, had applied for a administrative position. In sum, the person who called me to set up the interview blatantly lied to me. She told me that there were several non-sales jobs available (benefits specialist, administrative assistant, customer service representative) and that the purpose of my interview would be to discuss my interests and narrow down which of those positions could be a potential fit for me.

Quickest reply and interview I’ve ever had. Within 48 hours I already had an offer from them which was very surprising. Everything was done through practically text which was odd at first and then got everything emailed and verified very quickly. I did feel like the process would of been a lot smoother if they’d mention everything I need to get done get just for the onboarding rather than mentioning things one by one after going back and forth with management. Just having to get things scanned and sent over to them was a pain considering it would of taken a max of 15 minutes getting paperwork fill out and getting document together to send over rather the 3 hours I spent being told one item at a time. That’s as far as we’ve gotten so far but hopefully all goes well.
