The interview process took very long but finally, they shortlisted and offered me. Before offering the recruiter asked for a couple of professional references, which I provided. They did talk to them and after satisfactory feedback, they released the offer. A week after my offer acceptance one Some Director called me and asked for my current manager's number. I provided him but requested him not to talk to him now as I am still serving notice. But he insisted to talk. I said OK but again requested him not to reveal him that I have already received an offer from Amicorp but doing reference check before the offer. He has portrayed my statement as I am not reliable and lying to my current manager. He gave this reason and revoked my offer. Such unprofessional is this company. I doubt there is some dirty politics played here. So be careful.
