Red flags: I was asked to supply my college transcript, even though I graduated from college 10 years ago. They also would not provide a salary range for the position, although I was asked what salary range I was looking for. Rather than being offered the job, they wanted a two-week trial period. Although I was interested, they wanted me to start the next day, and to bring in my own computer because they were not set up yet! They offered an entry-level pay rate when I have 8+ years of professional writing experience, and rescinded the job offer when I attempted to negotiate a different pay rate and start day.
