I answered by comparing the different types of item categories and how on each one the layout would be different, then came up with a basic framework of how I would organize the page based on item specifics and how amongst shoes in particular, there are differing aspects of importance (durability, comfort, style, etc.). I also mentioned how there should be featured items based on seasonality / trends / special releases.
