Solution written is over 50 lines of code as long as logic is understood. It is on leetcode go check it out. Agree or disagree, in my opinion this question is not solvable in 45 mins unless you have practiced it well. Debugging is not straightforward and itself can take 10 mins of precious time. Interviewer did not understand code reuse and I lost points (in my opinion) trying to reuse already written code.
