Radio frequency, or RF for short, refers to the range of electromagnetic waves that’s used to send and receive signals without wires. It includes a huge range of frequencies, starting as low as 3 kHz (that’s 3,000 cycles per second) and going up to 300 GHz (300 billion cycles per second).
