There was a 1-on-1 with the hiring manager, then a conference call with the hiring manager and a few of the senior staff a week later. Everything went great; good discussion, good questions, and they seemed interested in me as a person AND as a colleague. At the end, the hiring manager said the he'd be sending my application to the HR rep (called her out by name, more than once). But after that - nothing. No follow up, no response to my follow up 2 weeks later, no rejection letter - nothing. I was ghosted.
