It was a open interview by appt only at a local hotel the store was not open yet. They asked simple questions like you have retail experience? Do you have a role model and how do u plan on branding the store. I was hired on the spot pay starting 9 hr. So not bad

Roughly 30 minute discussion getting to know the candidate, usually the store director is the person conducting the interview. The SD will get to know you and gauge your personality and ask you a few situational probing questions.

Easiest interview I had in my life. They just asked my availability because I was in school and the manager was very honest and transparent about the job and what I’d be doing.

I found the position listed on indeed and applied. They got back to me quickly and scheduled an interview at the store. The interview itself was laid back and easy--mainly, they want to know if you can respond positively to difficult customers and if you're comfortable selling the At Home credit card.
