Normal interview process: Phone call with recruiter, interview after with 2 hiring managers The process took a VERY long time, took 3 weeks for the hiring team to get back to me. I received a verbal offer almost 4 weeks after the initial interview, and the recruiter said I would receive a written offer within the next 4 business days. After a week, I reached out to the recruiter, and she told me the hiring team was "re-evaluating the talent pool," even after I received a verbal offer already. I didn't think she was serious. After ghosting my emails and phone calls for another 2 weeks, I reached out to the hiring manager, and she redirected me to the recruiter for formalities. The recruiter ghosted me for another week, then emailed me afterwards to tell me the position was filled with another candidate who filled the responsibilities more closely, DESPITE giving me a verbal offer already. Extremely disrespectful to candidates and I can't emphasize how unprofessional the hiring managers and recruiter were, ghosting and rescinding the offer. Overall process took more than 2 months.
