I was contacted the next day after I applied. The interview was set up the following week. I was interviewed with HR and a director. I could tell the director had not read my resume, but I thought the conversation went well. He asked an extensive amount of questions. He asked if he could pray at the end of the discussion, which was a great touch. I sent a thank-you email within 24 hours. No response. Two weeks later, I sent a follow-up email. No response. I think it's very telling that a ministry that represents Jesus does not find it necessary to at least respond and "close the loop" of communication to let someone know they have chosen another candidate. I've had secular companies give that basic courtesy. It was a disappointing experience.
