Applied via job board and then contacted by BMO HR representative for an interview. I was short listed by HR. Interview consisted of a phone interview with HR rep. for short listing and then 1 on 1 in-person interview with the hiring manager. In Person Interview with hiring Manager: From the start of the interview, all the interviewer kept saying was how they don't know what to do with this position. They kept saying...'Should I fill this position? Should I cancel it? Should I change it to something else? I am debating with my VP, I am just not sure at this point. I don't know if I will be hiring someone to fill this position.' It took BMO 3 months to send me a notification with the interview outcome. Note to BMO: Improve your interview process including your management's interviewing skills. Respect the candidates who you interview.

Well really frustrating expeience! First, they outsource recruiting to 3rd party company and I believe my recruiter handles multiple positions, and every email he sent out followed by a CORRECTION EMAIL.....back and forth eventually confirmed interview time & method. Second, only one on-site interview with one guy (he's the "manager" and the successful candidate will work with him), overall interview experience is good and nothing tricky. Then it came to post-interview stage. oh during interview I was told overall only one round and decision would be made after all candidates met. I followed-up twice with recruiter, every time he said he would send email to manager for feedback but never heard back.. Plus, during interview the guy told me actually they started interview Nov 2019 and didn't successfully bring anyone on-board due to different reasons; and this year they started interview again....totally waste my time!
