The hiring process was a through a friend. I was told the company was hiring and sent them an email. You start working when you come in and fill out a tax form. There wasn't a real interview process for me. They want to see how well you work with the people who are already there. It's a good idea since an interview isn't a realistic way to find out how someone works within an existing team. They want to see if you work hard, how paced you are and how independently you can work.
