For my cashier position interview, I was greeted by the hiring manager. She led me to a quiet corner, where we discussed my customer service and cash handling experience. She presented hypothetical scenarios, testing my problem-solving skills and ability to handle various situations, such as returns without receipts. I emphasized my comfort with technology and adaptability to new systems.

Was not hard. Asked simple behavioural questions and wanted to grasp if I could handle high-pressured environments to be able to handle work on days such as Black Friday. Mostly just talked about my past experience in retail!
It wasn’t bad at all. It was just a few quick questions about my past experience and whether or not I would be able to work part or full time, stuff like that.
