I interviewed with this firm in June 2024 and spent over 5 hours commuting to their office for an onsite interview, only to be met with silence afterward. Despite following up multiple times, I never received any feedback or even an automated rejection. Now, in November 2024, I’ve noticed the same position is still open, indicating they haven’t been able to fill a pretty generic, middle-level, non-managerial role in six months.
This experience raised three major concerns:
1. Lack of respect for applicants’ time and efforts;
2. Apparent indifference toward their reputation;
3. Inefficiency in handling hiring for essential roles.
A firm that doesn’t value the candidate experience reflects poorly on its internal culture and professionalism. I’d advise others to proceed cautiously and consider if they want to invest time in a process that may not offer basic courtesy or follow-through.
