Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Bits In Glass (Toronto, ON) em dez. de 2019
Entrevista
I have been referred by a friend and contacted on the same day by a Recruiter in Denver, Colorado - US. Unfortunately, the first question was about my Canadian Citizenship and not about myself nor my professional experience, giving me an upfront feeling of what they are really expecting, hiring Canadians or Mexicans (a.k.a NAFTA Compliant) to mostly live and work in the US.
I declined to proceed as I'm currently looking for a long-term Canadian based position and not spend 35%+ of my time away from my family.

Pergunta 1
Are you NAFTA Compliant (American, Mexican or Canadian National)? How long it will take you to become a Canadian National (What a joke! That was a big no for me!)

Initial phone screen with HR rep. I waited half an hour for their call until I sent them an email as a reminder. They called within the next minute, without offering a single apology or explanation! Totally rude and unprofessional! They first asked whether I was NAFTA compliant and willing to travel to the US. My answers were satisfactory so they then briefly through my resume.
Next step was a technical phone call. The 1st part of that interview felt more like a game of Trivial Pursuit i.e asking for dictionary definitions of various technologies. They then asked more behavioral/situational questions in the style of "Tell me about a time when...". Nothing about past experience, challenges or accomplishments.
