      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 6 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Blackbaud em jul. de 2022

      Entrevista

      1st round: 15-minute phone call with an HR person, where she asked basic questions about my resume and application, as well as shared some details about the position. 2nd round: 1-hour virtual technical interview with 2 senior engineers. I was asked questions about previous experience and given a coding challenge via Codeshare. 3rd (and final) round consisted of 2 parts: 1-hour reverse technical interview with 2 senior engineers and a 1-hour behavioral interview with 2 managers. During the reverse technical interview the engineers shared their screen to showcase tools and technologies they're using and let me ask any questions about their work. The behavioral part was very much conversational, I was asked a couple of brainteasers and some typical behavioral questions. Most people that I spoke to were friendly and engaging, which put me at ease and made the process more enjoyable. I was also always given enough time to ask questions as well, which I definitely appreciated. One thing that could've been done better is communication with HR between interviews. Sometimes I would have to ask things twice before getting an answer, had to reach out to them about the next steps after not hearing from them for a while, and at the very end, after the final interview, they sent me the most generic rejection letter, which was automated and didn't even come from any of the people I communicated with throughout the process. That left a bad taste in my mouth, though I'd take that over being ghosted I guess.
