I had a very positive interview experience with Block Renovation. I initially learned about the opportunity through a recruiter who helped set up time to speak with the hiring manager. After that was given a take-home project focused on coding and architecture. Then interviewed with a few more members of the team - Product Manager, Senior Engineer, Director of Engineering, CTO and lastly the Founder. I felt the interviews were conversational and really helped give an insight to life at Block, the people and culture.

I was contacted by a recruiter and had my first interview with Block in March 2022. It took about two months to receive an offer. I had a technical take-home that asked questions about frontend, backend, and system design. I then met with three different members of my future team to answer technical and behavioral questions. I then spoke to the CTO and later one of the founders. Although some questions were a bit tough, each person I spoke to was very approachable and affable.
