I was contacted the day after I applied (this was still two weeks before the final deadline for applications) and a phone interview was arranged for the following week.

Drawn out. A series of video & in person meetings. The in house recruiter was excellent at communicating during the process, and each group interview was professional. However I had the feeling that all parties weren’t aligned on what they were looking for in the successful candidate. Ultimately I “lost out” to a peers with similar experience but who was a little less senior. On reflection, the culture probably wasn’t for me. I’ve subsequently heard that there is enormous pressure to be physically in the office and remote/flex working is not an option.
