Entrevista
I applied Wednesday, interviewed Friday and Saturday and was offered a position Saturday morning. Lots of red flags:
-when I asked why it’s so hard to find information on their company, my question was left unanswered and he moved on and said “founded in 2010 in London.” They have changed their name several times so they can keep getting away with this scam. Other names include: Experior Advertising and Soenex Advertising. The Glassdoor reviews on these are NOT good. Also they aren’t even in their office building directory and when I asked the doorman why it was because the name was changed recently.
-Glassdoor overall rating is decent but if u read the individual reviews they are all calling it a scam. Inflating numbers very likely.
-they pretend to be up front with the structure and promise big things in a year clearing $100k but they leave out the key details with smoke and mirrors
-third round interview was very very quick where the man sat me down and continued to scribble all over the form I had to fill out between the second and third interview? Like what was the point of filling it out? He spoke very quickly and I was expected to answer just as fast and at the end they offered it but didn’t allow me to ask any other questions?
-first week guarantee pay is $360 with potential $100 commission. I did the math and since they want u to work Monday- Saturday 9-6 you’re actually receiving only $9.50 an hour. Many people say they don’t receive money until after 3rd week, if you last that long, (something they didn’t even talk about in the interview) and benefits don’t kick in until 2-3 months after you start
-something I noticed was that they don’t have any office space for anyone other than the people at the top. So what I got from other sources is your the people in the back of Best Buy/Walmart getting people to sign up for memberships to companies they promote.

Management claimed I was being selected out of a pool of 1500 applicants which was already a little fishy. After the second round interview, I met with one of the CEOs in person that same day, and he told me I could start in two days as an account executive. However, he became irate, aggressive and hostile when I told him I needed four days to make a decision.
He said that “I wasn’t understanding” what he was saying and “Do you know how much money I make?” I told him that I was not going to make a rash decision, and I wanted to discuss with my family for professional advice before making important career decisions; they have much more experience than I do. He insinuated that they must not make a lot of money, and I should associate myself with a clear success such as himself which was a bizarre and rather offensive statement to make. He told me I needed to accept now, or else someone else would get the job. He tried to spin it as my somehow lacking “confidence” for not rushing into a decision when I have other options.
I declined.
Why they would want to hire an employee who is weak enough to change his mind on the spot after being manipulated and bullied is beyond me, but I think it speaks volumes to the culture of that office.
Furthermore, I was taken back by how bad this individual's persuasive abilities were. For someone who is supposed have risen through the sales ranks and now manages other salesmen, my experience did not fill me with confidence that he could make a good mentor. He tried putting me on the defensive and didn't seem concerned with having an honest dialogue about my career plans. He became emotional and started attacking my rationale as quickly as he could and did not give me a way to agree with him without making me feel like a 'lost' the argument he started. This is a basic psychological concept that someone who has How to Win Friends and Influence People on his office bookshelf should recognize.
In a last ditch effort to impress me or assert his success, he told me I should stop by the beach to hang out at their boat party that was coming up.
What a hotshot!
All in all, I was not impressed by Brand-Fuze's bush league tactics. It really made me call into question all the other promises they made, and I have never been more “confident” that I made the right decision.
