I applied on LinkedIn and completed an assessment. I was contacted by the Executive Assistant to the CEO to schedule a first interview, which she conducted. Next, I interviewed with the CEO; his Executive Assistant also attended. I was told that they would be in touch soon with an update on next steps. I never heard from them again despite following up. Totally ghosted for a CMO role after interviewing with the CEO? Pretty unprofessional. Now that their CMO search is complete, maybe they should hire someone with an HR background.
