Made it to two interviews. The first was a 7-minute presentation, second was personality assessment. For the presentation, you can go over the time limit. However, you may not be under five minutes. It was comfortable, overall. Dress is business casual, and they work in pairs to interview you.

To start off, I have worked for other state departments during my undergrad and they were always very nice! However, I had an interview with the Sacramento legal department and I found them to be incredibly rude and stone faced during the interview. I took the interview abroad and I politely followed up after the interview. Obviously I took a job elsewhere because I didn’t hear back for four weeks. I wanted to take a state position with them, but I will never apply there again and encourage others not to waste their time. Very rude panel I had the interview with for the position.
