Applied online and was asked to take a skills test that included a questionnaire, a website mockup creation, and a video introduction. Thought that was a bit much, and didn't love the idea of having to answer questions, make a video, AND create a detailed website mockup inside of 90 minutes, since A) a quality mockup will take longer and B) that's what our portfolios/professional websites are already for... But I was game for it until I came here and read some interview reviews stating that they'd jumped through all the hoops and then never heard from the company again at all. I don't know what you have to submit to other positions, but for a designer, you're basically giving them a free website design that they never have to pay you for or hire you for. That's where I stopped. Don't work for free, people.

If we assigned three people to work with you on a complex project containing 75 tasks that you were responsible for, how would you organize this project?

did the questionnaire, assessment test, and video. pretty straightforward process and just waiting to hear back for an interview. the questionnaire had 10 questions, the skill test was a case study, and the video is 3 mins long introducing yourself.

OMG I am such an idiot. I should never have completed their dumb skills test. This company is a saltmine from the looks of it, and whomever is answering/responding to their reviews is a Class A JERK and someone I wouldn't even want to be in the same room with. You tell me all I need to know about your corporate culture right there. And the cynical ideology of "profiles are easily and often faked." is asinine.
I'll tell you what, get on Zoom with me (which you should have done vs. blindly asking for my time) and I will open my source files for you and we can then see who's telling the truth. And the worst part of it all is your book is middling at best! There's nothing great here. Also gun industry work? Double no thanks.

They asked me for about $200 worth of my time and effort.
Pleasant and professional, my interviewer was able to answer all my questions and there was no issues with them interpreting my accent. The questions seem standard and non personal but overall a good experience
