Can you do a bubble sort for me on the white board?

this is your common software engineer white board question. If you are going to interview for ATT, Google all basic sort algorithms and they will hire you.

Um...if anyone asks me to do a bubble sort in an interview, I'd probably question their expertise.

Gee, everytime I need to sort something, I call a sort function. Better yet, if it comes from a database, my sql statement better return it sorted. I haven't had to write a sort since I had to worry about overlays on a PDP 11/74.
