OMG. Where do I start? Lets just say that you will be declined an offer letter after being told that it is being readied. My sincere advice to the management- If you are approaching anyone for an open position, then please keep the position open. I had a extremely bad experience wherein I was offered a senior position. After three successful F2F rounds, and a telephonic round with the chairman, I was asked to submit my current employer documents for the salary negotiations. Post negotiations and lots of (unanswered, at that!) calls and after being told that my offer letter is being readied, I was simply texted that the position is on hold!! That really takes the cake. I mean how come the position suddenly goes on hold? I would appreciate if you would have instead told me that I am unsuitable or my salary range was out reach. Just stop wasting other professionals time and giving them false baits.
