I met with someone who presented themselves as part of the hiring process, though their background appeared to be more engineering-focused than HR-related. The interaction was challenging—the interviewer had a noticeably poor attitude and came across as disengaged and dismissive. He seemed irritated when I asked standard questions about the company’s culture, team environment, and expectations. Overall, it felt as though he did not want to participate in the interview, which made for a very unusual and unprofessional experience.

The interviewer asked only one question—where I was based—and I explained that I was open to relocating. Beyond that, he appeared disengaged and uninterested in the conversation, which made the interaction feel unprofessional. He also mentioned that he would follow up within 48 hours, but I did not receive any further communication. I reached out twice regarding the status of the role and never received a response. It’s possible the position was filled internally, which many companies choose to do before considering external candidates.
