The process consisted of an initial recruiter screening, a technical interview focused on coding and problem-solving, a system design discussion, and a final panel interview with engineering and product team members. The process took approximately 3–4 weeks from application to decision. Communication was clear throughout, and interviewers were professional and engaged.

Typical questions include “Tell me about yourself,” “Why do you want to work at Celonis?” and discussions about salary expectations and availability. The goal is to confirm that your profile matches the basic requirements for the role. The second step is an interview with the hiring manager or a team lead. This call usually lasts 45–60 minutes and focuses more on your experience and problem-solving skills. You may be asked to discuss previous projects, explain how you handled challenges, or answer role-specific questions related to data analysis, business problems, or process improvement. After this, candidates often receive a take-home task. This assignment may involve analyzing a dataset, preparing a short presentation, or solving a business case. You typically have a few days to complete it. The final step is the last interview, where you present your task and answer behavioral questions. This stage evaluates your communication skills, structured thinking, and overall fit with the team.

I interviewed for a Process Mining Tech team. There were in total 4 rounds of interviews, one technical challenge to solve and one paper to present. The first round was a telephonic interview with the Talent Acquisition team. The second was a general background check with the Engineering Manager. The third was a technical interview based upon the challenge, the presentation, and general Process Mining questions. The team was responsive, and the process took ~2-3 months.
