After that, I was contacted, but it felt like they were simply filling a quota rather than genuinely considering me for the role. I left the interview with the impression that they were not truly interested in hiring me, regardless of how I presented myself. After the technical interview went extremely well, I was confident that I had passed. However, I didn’t hear anything for a month, only to be informed that I hadn’t passed due to SQL skills, despite the fact that SQL was never mentioned during the interview.
