Had an initial call with the recruiter, which well enough - pretty friendly person, and it was conversational (no stress). Ended by telling me he was going to take his notes back to the hiring manager, and get back to me with next steps. Decided to follow up a few days later to see if they had an update, and it turns out they wanted to move forward, which was a case study. Provided my availability to present and got started - never heard back. Followed up two more times... nothing. Not really surprised based on the reviews from working there. I'd avoid what is probably a toxic situation.
