Met with VP of Department. Hit it off immediately. Made decision and hired within 1 week. It was nice to have an in person interview and not a phone interview. Person doing interview understood role and what it entailed as well as who would fit into their culture. Other positions do have Contract recruiters performing phone screens, but the turnover in Contract recruiters is high. probably for the lack of respect HR has towards the HR contractors.
