Entrevista
I emailed my resume to a recruiter. I received a response email asking me to give her a call to do a pre screen. She asked me basic questions about my interests, she explained the job and expectations to me.
Everything went well, and she sent me a link to the actual application. Once that was completed she sent me a link to complete an assessment. This was personality questions, and an actual practice case's in a mock system.
She called me back the next day to tell me I passed the assessment and she set up a time to do a complete phone interview. I completed the phone interview with her these were STAR format questions "Tell me about a time...". She then gave me some tips for an in person interview, and let me know she is going to get me scheduled for an interview.
Within the hour she emailed me my interview time. I arrived to my interview, there were three other people there. We all took a tour of the facility, and met a few of the managers. We then entered a room, and watched a presentation about the company, and the position. I was very bubbly during the tour and presentation (laughing at jokes etc). The Comcast manager then left, and the recruiter asked if we had any questions.
A moment later the Manager called me for an interview. The others completed their interviews with other people after me. I interviewed with two managers. They asked me very similar questions to the recruiters phone interview. They asked me to step out for a moment so that they could converse. I sat down, and about 30 seconds later i was called back in.
They then asked if I would be able to stay to complete a 2nd interview. I agreed. Their manager called me back a few min later and asked me more sales related questions. About an hour later after I arrived home I received an offer letter from the last manager I interviewed with. I completed the Escreen drug test & Carco background check. I start my training on June 1st!

Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou mais de 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Comcast (York, PA) em fev. de 2016
Entrevista
I was contacted by a very pleasant recruiter and advised that I'd be a great fit for the position. Took an online assessment and told I passed it with flying colors. We set up and phone interview and was impressed and scheduled me for an interview at the York, PA office. That's when the process went down hill. The building was large and had multiple entrances but there was no sign for Comcast. I had to ask a few people where to go.
I was first walked down a unlit hall and sat in a room with no souls but a guy occasionally walking back in forth eating Planters peanuts out of a can. The gentleman interviewing me was 10 minutes late to the interview. I was greeted by the most unprofessional / unhygienic man I've ever met in a business setting. He was dressed very casual in a black sweat shirt and jeans. He glanced over me and I could tell right away that he was jealous or intimidated seeing me dressed a high quality suit. We sat down and he didn't look me in the eyes once, and was more concerned with typing my answers on a computer rather than actually having a conversation. This also shows about the same quality of customer service when you call Comcast and get horrific service which I experienced first hand. I presented him with about 15 letters I got from clients and performance assessments written by management at previous jobs. He just bragged on about he owned NBC( which he works for not owns) and told me that they are interviewing a lot of candidates and the recruiter will call me when I'm selected. Its a shame because I have A LOT of experience for the job I was applying for and I felt as if it was an unfair interview since I was only able to talk to him and no one else working for the company. I guess if someone doesn't like you at first glance you're out.

How would you explain something to a customer that did not understand a product?

Applied online via Ziprecruiter, then online on Comcast's website, assessment test with a virtual environment, 45 minute phone interview with recruiter, and finally onsite interview in Beaverton, OR. The phone interview seemed tougher than in person but I didn't get offered the position. I only had less than 6 months of sales experience with Velapoint Personal Insurance but I thought I would get offered the job. Interviewed with a man and woman managers and made them laugh by asking when do I pee in a cup and made them laugh but alas laughs don't translate into job offers. The job ad said they were looking for someone with 2-5 years experience.

How would you sell a product to someone when it is not the best deal and give an example of when you did this?

Phone Interview then face-to-face interview with 2 supervisors. Before the face-to-face interview, you are given a tour of the Call Center and then shown a PowerPoint presentation of company benefits, accomplishments, etc... I felt that one of the face-to-face interviewers was very monotone. He didn't seem as enthusiastic as the recruiter and the supervisor who gave us a tour of the Call Center. I think he definitely could have made Comcast feel more like an enjoyable place to work at.
