Interview was cold, impersonal with someone who was clearly not a nurse let alone even in the medical field. Just a recruiter from Colorado with a could care less attitude. The first question I was asked was if I would accept the hourly rate they were offering for new grads. Which was quite frankly not RN pay but very close to what a tech should be earning. It is not all about money, but you also have to know what you are worth as a Registered Nurse. Second question was why I wanted to be a dialysis nurse. Apparently the answer she was looking for was that I wanted to take care of my patients long term, and that I was committed to staying at the company. I knew before the interview was over that I was not going to be offered the job, and honestly I was ok with that. The next day I interviewed with a different company. I was offered a job for $10 more an hour then Davita was offering, plus better benefits. New Nurse or not know your worth people, and be weary of company attitudes towards potential employees. It says a lot more about employers than you might think.

Applied online and got an interview invitation 2 weeks later. Scheduled a phone interview and just need to wait for the phone call on the day of the interview. Did a self introduction and recruiter asked about schedule availability and commuting time.
