I define leadership as someone who the employee can look up to. A leader exemplifies a person whom can personally understand a situation and help the employee through it as well as motivate the employee to do their best. Management can be described as someone who maintains order in their department or company. The manager has the job of making sure things get done correctly, for instance. However, both are valuable characteristics for the position of Assistant Manager.
