Being an accounting manager, I had a situation with a person working under my supervision. He was a cashier. Two times, when persorming his duties as a cashier, he close the day having more cash than he was supposed to. The firs time I thougth I could be a mistake, and I talked to him. But the second time I knew it was not a mistake. After the first situation, I reviewed the process for at least a month, and I was not able to find anything wrong. Therefore, after the second incident, I gave the employee a written worning and he was removed from his position.
