I discussed a time when I was managing a project that was understaffed for a variety of reasons. I identified early on that we may not meet deadlines so I first tried to sort the resourcing then when that wasn’t able to be done, I reached out to the client for a catch-up to discuss the deadline risk. We managed to deliver but the client appreciated the transparency of the communication and when we did deliver it showed our commitment to the service
