(Current project) • Project Duration: January 2016 - Present • Job Role: Senior Automation Engineer • System Used: Siemens SPPA-T3000 • Responsibilities: Creating input documents for DCS. (IO List, Logic Diagrams, HMI Schematics) Testing the logic on simulation platform. Reviewing supplier’s documents to check if they are fulfilling the operation philosophy of the system and checking if it meets the hardware and software requirements. Reviewing all control panels wiring diagrams for all systems (WTP, Intake Screens, Air Compressor, Sump Pumps, Potable Water Skid, etc…). Coordinating between site team and engineering team in all control related aspects. Attaqa 650 MW Simple Cycle Power Plant in Suez, Egypt. • Project Duration: January 2015 - December 2015 • Job Role: Junior Automation Engineer • System Used: Siemens SPPA-T3000 • Responsibilities: Creating all input documents for DCS (IO List, Logic Diagrams, Alarm List, IO Allocation List). Participating with Siemens India team in creating the Logic, HMI and IO Allocation on the SPPA-T3000. Supporting Siemens Germany team in commissioning of the TCS (Turbine Control System). Carrying out and attending FAT at Siemens India for DCS. DCS Commissioning on Site. Modifying and creating logic and HMI on site using the SPPA-T3000. Performing loop checks on site. Performing function tests on site. Training on Siemens SPPA-T3000 at Siemens Power Academy in Karlsruhe, Germany. Kusile 4800 MW Coal Fired Power Station in South Africa. • Project Duration: April 2012 - August 2014 • Job Role: Junior Automation Engineer • System Used: Alstom ALSPA P320 • Responsibilities: Creating logic diagrams and control. Creating and configuring HMI. Assigning I/Os to cards and controllers. Carrying out Internal Tests. Carrying out and attending Pre-FAT at Alstom India. Medupi 4800 MW Coal Fired Power Station in South Africa. • Project Duration: June 2013 - November 2014 • Job Role: Lead Automation Engineer • System Used: Alstom ALSPA P320 • Responsibilities: Team Leader of Egypt’s team for commissioning modifications. Managing the required tasks and meeting all the deadlines. Applying the required modifications on ALSPA P320 for commissioning purposes. Preparing the required Documentation. Following up with the French team, Indian team and South African team. Participating in daily meetings for progress follow up.
