Describe a time you handled a difficult customer. How did you resolve the situation?

In my previous role, a customer was upset because their baggage was delayed. I empathized with their frustration, calmly apologized, and assured them I’d do everything to assist. I immediately checked the tracking system, informed them of the estimated delivery time, and offered updates by phone. I also provided a voucher for essentials while they waited. By staying calm and showing empathy, I turned a frustrated customer into a satisfied one.
