I compared my style of management in comparison to being a parent. Someone who is looked at as authority and is respected yet a person who is also trusted and open enough for employees to utilize the "open door policy", whether in regards to any hostility or negative work environment occurrences to being accountable and responsible for their shift/role/duties within their job.
