Started off great then got terrible. I applied and got an email from the recruiter 2 weeks later. We briefly went over my resume and she asked me about salary. I named my price and she told me she could get me 10k more than that which was exciting. She bragged about the company but mentioned it will be bought out next year from a competitor. She advised she will reach out if the hiring manager wants an interview. A week later I get a request to meet the manager. We did a teams interview, it went great. Manager told me 200 people applied, they chose 14 to interview. He said he wanted to narrow it to 5 and then give an offer to 3 people. He told me that I get a definite yes from him, I’m qualified for the job and that he wants me to meet with two other managers. I then get ghosted and 3 weeks later finally I hear from the recruiter that I made the top 5 and I then meet with the managers separately. Interviews went fine but one of the managers was very disengaged. I then get ghosted again. 2 weeks later I got an auto reject email and the next day the job posting was listed again 3 times. This was 5 months ago and the posting has been listed yet again. I believe it was a ghost job and they were never hiring. Waste of time.
