It is of no benefit to anyone to try to 'sell the job' or keep job information from a candidate, as you have presented. Job interviews serve a dual purpose for the candidate and business to determine if they are a good fit for one another. Candidates are interviewed by management, the supervisor and the current machinist(s). During the interview process, they are shown the machine shop, the machining equipment, and examples of current and/or sample work performed on an average day. It is in a prospective employee's best interest, in any interview, to inquire about any additional information they need to determine if a job is the right fit for them. We encourage candidates to ask questions and we keep an open line of communication during the interview process and afterwards.
