I told them, at first I like to work with a team of people to learn processes and style guides, etc and then to start writing on my own, then submit my work for peer review. Apparently they misunderstood me to mean that I was not willing to work with a team. No clue how they got that impression. I felt the interview process was unprofessional and very judgmental and without honesty. So glad to be done with them!
